Gelatine is a thoroughly natural product. This also explains the special responsibility of the member companies to protect nature and keep the environment sustainable. What is more natural than following new paths for conserving the environment, saving human lifes and improving the quality of human life with the product gelatine? The binding properties of gelatine and its ability to form reversible jellies play an outstanding role here. Even today gelatine is being used as an invisible helper in the most diverse fields, for example in stem cell therapy and soon, perhaps, also in combating oil disasters on the world’s seas.
