Wax beans, also known as “butter beans”, have a light yellow-coloured pod. They are milder in taste than green beans. They may be bought fresh or pre-cooked in jars. They may be combined excellently with other beans, and should be cooked for at least 20 minutes. They are used for salads and as a side dish. Wax beans are commonly used in Indian cuisine.
