Nowadays it is difficult to think of a diet that does not include citrus fruits. Due to their versatility, lemons have become especially popular in the kitchen.

Tickle your tastebuds
Whether as a hot lemon drink in the winter or a drizzle of lemon juice over a fruit salad – the tart citrus fruit has a diverse range of uses in the kitchen. A dash of lemon is often what adds the necessary finishing touch to dishes.
Lemons are also very healthy. They are rich in vitamin C, a nutrient that is, however, heat sensitive. For this reason lemons or lemon juice should not be cooked on a high heat or heated for too long.
And another tip: should you only need a little lemon juice, you can simply cut away a small section of the rind and pierce a few holes into the lemon with a fork. This will allow the juice to run out. If you first roll the lemon back and forth, you will get even more juice.

Ingeneous Dessert
The lemon jelly with figs is a real “eye-catcher”. The contrast between the light lemon jelly and the fresh, dark figs is very pleasing to the eye. A sprinkling of lemon peel adds the finishing touch to this small culinary artwork. However, it tastes just as good as it looks. The refreshing flavour of the lemons makes the dish seem wonderfully light. Gelatine ensures that the dessert does not lose its form, but melts deliciously in your mouth.
The lemon jelly with figs is just right for an evening with friends and a glass of wine. We already would like to wish you a great deal of pleasure with this unique dessert.
