The trend towards more sport,  exercise and fitness has been on the rise since the mid-1980s and continues unabated. Fitness studios are popping up everywhere. Be it early in the morning or late at night – joggers and fitness enthusiasts are to be found every-where. For centuries now people have known the secret of a long life and healthy bones and joints: a regular, balanced diet and the right exercise.

International studies in China, Finland and the USA have shown that a moderate change in lifestyle is enough  to prevent the development of nearly 60 per cent of all diabetes cases. One third of all cancers could be prevented by regular activity and a healthy diet throughout a person's life. Bone and articulations diseases like arthrosis and osteoporosis can be also prevented in this way.

...with gelatine you can get through life well

Exercise is always good for your health. Yet caution is also necessary. Sport and physical exertion can take their toll on bones and joints. The consequences can be pain, swelling of the joints, and restriction of movement. Cartilage degeneration is often a slow process which commonly goes unrecognised, as in most cases the symptoms only appear many years later. But now there is natural help on hand to prevent this process and to combat acute pain: The natural protein gelatine is particularly good for bones and joints. Why? It contains large concentrations of the amino acids gly-cine and proline. Both of these amino acids are vital to the development of joint carti-lage, which suffers if the joints are subject to great stress. If you do not have enough of these amino acids in your body, you may suffer from painful joints.

For this reason experts recommend a daily intake of 10 grams of gelatine. The regular consumption of gelatine leads to fast regeneration of over-stressed joints. Protein is to be recommended for all people doing any sporting activity, be it jogging, dancing, in the fitness studio or if their joints are stressed by another form of activity.

Prevention is better than cure. Gelatine has both a preventative and regenerative effect on bones, cartilage, tendons and ligaments. For this reason people should start taking gelatine as early as possible. The earlier you begin, the longer you will remain free of complaints when it comes to fitness and mobilty at an older age.
