Gelatine – Versatile protein with ever-increasing potential

To guarantee the highest quality of gelatine for consumers worldwide the nine largest western European gelatine manufacturers have formed the Gelatine Manufacturers of Europe Association (GME).
The GME would be delighted if you could join them at a press briefing for gelatine at the Anuga Fine Food Fair, Cologne, 10 October at 4pm on the GME Stand, Hall 5, Aisle A, No 056.
One of the speakers, Marc Vermeulen, General Secretary of the GME will talk about developments in the gelatine market and the diverse range of food products containing the ingredient.
Gelatine is a natural protein that stands out thanks to its technical and sensory qualities. It is also an excellent source of protein, free from cholesterol, purine, sugar and fat. European gelatine manufacturers produce over 42 per cent of gelatine production worldwide, with over 3,000 employees.
